2027 GUBER: Bauchi Youths Beg President Tinubu to Allow Ali Pate Aspire for APC Ticket

President Bola Tinubu has been urged to let the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof Mohammed Ali Pate aspire to get the gubernatorial ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 election in Bauchi State. 

The appeal was made by the Bauchi Youths Discussion Cycle, led by Prince Mohammed Sani Hassan, which unanimously passed a vote of confidence in Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, for his transformational work in the health sector. 

The group stressed that Professor Ali Pate's outstanding performance in health development and social welfare has earned him widespread acclaim,  commending President Bola Tinubu for appointing him to the critical role.

According to him, "Given his remarkable achievements, we humbly request President Bola Tinubu to consider releasing Professor Ali Pate to contest for the governorship of Bauchi State. We believe his leadership skills, vision, and dedication to development would be a perfect fit for our state's needs at this time."

He stressed that, "Professor Ali Pate's ability to lead without rancor or discrimination makes him an ideal candidate to drive progress in Bauchi State. We have every confidence that he will replicate his successes in the health sector on a state-wide level, fostering development and growth that benefits all.

"We recognize Professor Ali Pate as an exceptional leader, adept at grassroots mobilization and possessing the charisma and integrity required to inspire positive change," he added. 

According to him, "His proven track record as a planner and executor of development projects, makes him the ideal candidate for Bauchi State's current needs." 

Mohammed Sani Hassan added that, "We express our deepest gratitude to President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for granting us the opportunity to work with Professor Ali Pate. We look forward to his consideration of our request and are optimistic about the future of Bauchi State under his leadership."
