Gov. Bala Receives PDP Reconciliation Committee, as Internal Crises Deepens

Bauchi State Governor and Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has received the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Reconciliation Committee led by Ambassador Hassan Adamu (Wakili Adamawa) at his residence in Abuja.

The committee, recently inaugurated by the PDP Board of Trustees (BoT) under the leadership of Senator Adolphus Wabara, was mandated to interface with critical stakeholders across the country to foster peace, unity, and reconciliation within the party.

During the meeting, Governor Bala Mohammed reaffirmed commitment of the PDP Governors’ Forum to the ongoing reconciliation efforts, emphasizing the importance of internal cohesion ahead of the party’s future engagements. 

He also reiterated the forum’s support for the National Working Committee (NWC) led by Ambassador Umar Iliya Damagum, describing unity as the party’s greatest strength.

In his remarks, Ambassador Hassan Adamu appreciated the governor for his warm reception and constructive insights, assuring that the committee would continue broad consultations with all segments of the party to strengthen its internal democracy and restore mutual confidence among members.
