Be Courageous, More United Focus on Future-- Commissioner of Sports

The Bauchi State Commissioner of Youth and Sports Development Salis Mohammed Gamawa urged the Management, players, Technical Crew and all stakeholders in Wikki Tourists Football to be courageous and remain focus in the trying moment of the club.
 
He was speaking in an interview shortly with club media team after the Nigeria National League 24 Conference C final game against EFCC of Abuja which fail short of giving Wikki Tourists the ticket for the super eight play- off after a  2-4 win against the home team. 

The Commissioner commended everybody for giving out their best in the campaign sofar to return to the Nigeria elite league particularly, His Excellency Governor Bala Muhammed Abdulkadir and the players for their doggednes commitment throughout the Season. 

Gamawa was also at the players hotel to cheer them up with some encouraging words and incentives asking them to take what happened in good faith and focus on the Federation Cup.

He maintained that, "We are not loosers in this game but only  that the Season did not favour us and because of that I don't expect anybody to have any ill feelings or malice against each other but be more United and strong so that we don't loose focus of what we should do next, this is our destiny" he reminded them

On his part the technical adviser of the club Azeez Audu Mohammed while responding expressed gratitude of the Technical Crew to Commissioner for his Support to the team since the start of the league and tendered his apology to the good football loving people of Bauchi State on the inability to get the super eight ticket and solicit for their understanding promising he will compensate the club handsomely 

Wikki Tourists FC was relegated to the Nigeria National League at the end of the 2022/23 Season of the Nigeria Professional  Football League, NPFL.
