Tribalism Allegations: Hon. Lauya Faces Criticism from Constituents

The member representing Ardo-Kola, Karim Lamido, and Lau federal constituency, Hon. Abdullahi Muhammad Lauya, has come under fire from constituents who accuse him of tribalizing leadership. Critics argue that Hon. Lauya prioritizes his own tribe's interests over the needs of the broader community, citing the Wurkun House in Mutun Daya as a prime example.

This perceived favoritism has led to feelings of marginalization and disillusionment among constituents who expect their leader to be inclusive and fair. Many believe that leadership should transcend tribal lines and focus on unity and development for all.
