Bauchi Governor Strengthens Education Ties with UBEC

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State recently paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Secretary of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), Aisha Garba, as part of efforts to deepen collaboration in the education sector.

Accompanied by Education Commissioner Dr. Lawal Rimin Zayam and BASUBEB Chairman Alhaji Adamu Duguri, the governor engaged in high-level talks focused on improving infrastructure, teacher training, and expanding access to quality basic education.
Garba commended the governor’s proactive approach, reaffirming UBEC’s commitment to supporting Bauchi’s education drive. The meeting ended with a mutual pledge to boost education outcomes across the state through joint initiatives.
The visit marks another bold step by Governor Mohammed to strengthen education delivery in Bauchi State.
