We Opened Economic Opportunities with Dualization of Misau, Katagum Township Roads--Gov. Bala

In an effort to increase more economic and business opportunity to the people of Bauchi state there is the need to invest in rural roads construction and rehabilitation for sustainable development
Bauchi state Governor, Bala Mohammed made the remark on Monday during flagging-off up 12.2 kilometers of road dualization construction projects in two local government areas of Misau and Katagum.
The projects inaugurated include the dualization of 7 kilometers A.D Rufa'i College of Islamic and Legal studies in Misau local government as well as Dualization of 5.2 SECRACO round about to Emir's palace road in Azare town of Katagum local government area.
The Governor while flagging off the projects in the two local government areas urged the benefiting communities to support the contractors to conclude the project at stipulated period
In a welcom address, the Caretaker Committee Chairmen of Misau and Katagum appreciated the effort of Governor Baka for the equitable distribution of infrastructure across the state.
According to them, the road construction when completed, will impact positively in the economy and the wellbeing of the people of the area and the state in general.
Our Corresspondent reports that the Governor who is all out to revamp the state through massive road network is also expected to within the week, inaugurate other roads in Tafawa Balewa, Toro, Bauchi and Alkaleri LGAs of the state.
