Bauchi state government continue to address insecurity with rural road projects as governor Bala Mohammed Flags-off more roads constructions in Tafawa Balewa and Toro local government areas of the state
Governor Bala says the rural road network linking communities along the corridors of Boi, Gambar, Sara, Marti and Lere in Bogoro and Tafawa Balewa to address security situation and the growth of economic activities in the area.
He mentioned this at the ground breaking ceremony of twenty nine kilometers 29 kilometer projects held at Lere district of Tafawa Balewa local council area
Speaking at the occasion, Bala promised that the execution of similar projects across the state is under the Rural Agricultural and Mobility Project (RAMP) a Work Bank Assisted Programme.
Similarly, the Governor also inaugurated fouty four point two 42.4 kilometers road project from Geljaule to Lame District of Toro Local Government Area.
According to him, the project which would cost fourteen point two billion 14.2 billion naira was in fulfilment of the promises made during electioneering campaign.
He therefore charged the state Ministry of Works and Transport to ensure the contractors adhere strictly to the timeframe and project specification
