Bauchi Police Collabo Efforts, Arrest 5 on Armed Robbery, Criminal Conspiracy

Bauchi police command in collaboration with quasi-security outfit successfully nabbed five persons in connection with armed robbery and criminal conspiracy in Bauchi communities
According to the statement released by the state command public relations office Ahmed Wakil, says Investigation revealed that the suspect was from Kano State. He rented two (2) houses at Shehu Wunti Housing Quarters after coming to Bauchi through one Jamilu Isah ‘m’ of ‘Yankaba Kano State to connive with other members of the gang and terrorize Bauchi communities, particularly Shehu Wunti Housing Quarters.
Wakil also confirmed that, the suspects armed with dangerous weapons criminally conspired among themselves and trespassed into a house belonging to one Dr. Kabiru Umar ‘m’ of Shehu Wunti Quarters Bauchi, and attempted to rob him of his car, a Peugeot dark-blue in color and other valuable items. But they were chased and arrested by the security after visibility patrol
The police spokesman further maintained that, all of Unguwan Shongel and Tirwun areas respectively, which they were during interrogation and the suspects confessed to the offense. the following suspects as well as the exhibits recovered includes:
1. Musbahu Umar ‘m’ aged 23yrs of Tirwun area Bauchi
2. Salim Hamisu ‘m’ aged 30yrs
3. Sadiq Nura AKA Abba ‘m’ aged 22yrs
4. Abubakar Aliyu ‘m’ aged 22yrs
5. Mohammed Mohammed AKA Abba ‘m’ aged 20yrs
Two (2) empty white leaders of new martchetes One (1) Hunda Car ignition key Two (2) Qlink motorcycle ignition keys also recovered.
The police command PPRO expressed that, investigation is ongoing to trace and arrest the remaining gang members, after which the defendants will be profiled and charged to court for the established offenses.
