Bauchi Govt. Prioritises Special Need Education, Moves Special School to BASOVCA

The state government has transfer the activities of the special school Yelwa from the ministry of education to the state orphans and vulnerable children agency under the supervision of ministry of women affairs and child development

Speaking to newsmen shortly after the handing over held at the state ministry of education conference hall, on Monday 

Special adviser to the Governor on education Alhaji Adamu Zakari during the official handing over of the special school to the agency said the aimed is to improve the educational standard of students in the state, especially the less privilege children 

Zakari reaffirmed the state government commitment to ensure every child irrespective of their status get equal opportunity and qualitative education throughout the state

The state commissioner ministry of women affairs and child development Hajiya Hajara Gidado during the handing over assured her ministry's dedication towards complementing Government efforts to improve the education of children with special needs in the state

She was represented by the permanent secretary of the ministry Bello Abdullahi while commending the state governor for his foresight in improving access to quality education and standard to all and sundry
