Bauchi People Urged to Support Ali Pate for 2027 Guber Election

People of Bauchi State, particularly those with Voter's Card have been urged to ensure that they voted for the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof Mohammed Ali Pate, as the next Governor of the State in 2027 if he eventually secure the gubernatorial ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). 

The call was made by an Activist, young Politician  and Political Analyst in Bauchi, Prince Mohammed Sani Hassan, who has declared his support for the emergence of the Coordinating Minister. 

He stated that, "As Nigeria steadily approaches another critical democratic transition in 2027, the people of Bauchi State stand at a crossroads, a moment that calls for deep reflection, renewed vision, and decisive leadership." 

According to him, "It is against this background that I, Prince Mohammed Sani Hassan, an activist, politician, and political analyst, wish to formally declare my full support for Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, the Honourable Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, to contest for the position of Governor of Bauchi State in 2027."

Mohammed Sani Hassan stated that,"Over the years, I have been deeply involved in youths mobilization, governance advocacy, and public policy analysis across Nigeria. From my experience as a student leader, civil servant, and lecturer, I have come to understand that leadership is not about politics of convenience or personal gain  it is about competence, integrity, and service to humanity."

He added that,"Professor Muhammad Ali Pate embodies these ideals. He is a tested technocrat, a global health reformer, and a patriotic son of Bauchi State whose contributions to national and international development have earned him global recognition." 

"As the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, he has introduced transformative policies that are already reshaping Nigeria’s healthcare system and restoring confidence in public institutions. His record at the GAVI Alliance and his tenure as Minister of State for Health stand as shining examples of visionary, transparent, and compassionate leadership," he added.

He further stated that,"Bauchi State today needs a leader who understands the global economy, appreciates the value of knowledge, and can attract both local and foreign investments to drive sustainable growth." 

According to him, "The state deserves a leader who will prioritize youth empowerment, agricultural modernization, educational reform, and healthcare delivery  areas that Professor Pate has consistently championed throughout his career." 

He stressed that, "Our support for him is therefore not political sentiment but a patriotic duty. Bauchi must rise above the politics of division and mediocrity to embrace a leadership founded on competence, humility, and accountability. Professor Pate’s reputation for integrity and excellence offers a rare opportunity to reposition Bauchi as a model state in Northern Nigeria and beyond."

He also stated that,"As a proud son of Bauchi and a lifelong advocate of progressive governance, I hereby call on all youths, women, community leaders, and political stakeholders across the 20 Local Government Areas of Bauchi State to unite behind this noble cause. Let us begin early to build the movement that will deliver Bauchi’s rebirth  a movement of ideas, innovation, and inclusiveness."

Mohammed Sani Hassan added that,"In 2027, Bauchi must not gamble with its future. It is time for a leader who knows the world and whom the world knows a leader who can transform our potentials into progress.That leader is Professor Muhammad Ali Pate." 

He concluded that, "Together, we can make Bauchi State a beacon of good governance and a symbol of renewed hope for Northern Nigeria."
