Wikki Tourists Set for Tough Test in Lafia
By Nasiru IBRAHIM, Bauchi
Wikki Tourists have arrived in Lafia for Sunday’s clash with Nasarawa United at the Township Stadium.
After a light training session on arrival, Technical Adviser Abdu Maikaba said he expects a lot from his boys. “Tomorrow’s game is a big one, but we are confident of getting a positive result,” he assured.
The Tourists are full of confidence after beating Abia Warriors last weekend, a result that lifted them to second place on the NPFL table with 7 points from three games.
This fixture is usually close. Wikki once claimed a 2–0 win back in 2022, but Nasarawa also got their revenge at home with a narrow 1–0 victory the same year. It’s always been about fine margins between these two.
With Wikki in good form and Nasarawa counting on their home crowd, fans can look forward to another tight battle on Sunday.
