JCI Bauchi City Hosts August General Assembly on Inclusive Leadership and Growth

On Sunday, 24th August 2025, JCI Bauchi City held its August General Assembly and Business Meeting at Block A, Room 8, Reinsurance House, Ahmadu Bello Way, Bauchi, under the inspiring theme “No One Left Behind: Driving Growth, Leadership, and Impact with Inclusivity.” 

The session, hosted by 2025 Local Organization President, JCIN Amb. Akintunde Tajudeen Taiwo, brought together members, leaders, and changemakers committed to advancing inclusive leadership and sustainable impact. In his opening remarks, President Akintunde emphasized that true growth comes when “everyone has a seat at the table and every voice is valued.”

The event featured a dynamic theme presentation, committee project reports, and strategic updates, including a highlight of the five awards received by JCI Bauchi City at the JCIN Northern Conference—Best JCI RISE Project, Best Human Duties Project, Best Local Business & Entrepreneurship Program, Best International Cooperation Project, and Most Outstanding Local President.

These awards were formally presented to JCI Human Duties Ambassadors and members in recognition of their collective effort. A special moment was the induction of three new members into the organization.

Guest Speaker, Princess Gungdi Markus, Founder and Executive Director of the Gungdi Community Support Foundation, shared an inspiring message on inclusion and empowerment, while Hassan Alhaji Hassan mnipr, Lecturer at FPTB and Patron of JCIN FPTB Collegiate LO, reinforced the importance of mentorship and responsibility in leadership.

The Personality of the Month, JCI Senator Dr. Japhet Erasmus Aisoni, joined virtually to thank JCI Bauchi City for the recognition, encourage members to sustain their efforts, and laud the organization for its consistent impact.

The assembly concluded with networking, collaboration opportunities, and membership growth discussions, reaffirming JCI Bauchi City’s vision of building an inclusive community where no one is left behind, while preparing members for upcoming national engagements.
