2027: NIGERIANS YEARN FOR TINUBU/YARI TICKET

If APC is serious about winning the 2027 presidential election, they should not give a second thought to fielding His Excellency Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the immediate past Governor of Zamfara State H.E Senator Abdulaziz Yari as his vice presidential runningmate.
Should they do as they are being advised by patriotic Nigerians all over the country winning the election will surely be a piece of cake to them. For President Tinubu/APC to continue to hold on to power beyond 2027 they have to be very meticulous and calculative in shoping for who becomes the party's vice presidential running mate by weighing his political popularity/influence within the geopolitical zone he comes from!
Handpicking/cherry picking a politician who commands heavy respect in the geopolitical zone he hails from, is of paramount importance to any political party formed and peopled by hawk-eyed politicians because if they fail to go for the right person the whole house will be on fire and eventually cave in.
Both the party and the president must do everything humanly possible to simplify the purely political processes we are to apply to retain the presidential seat beyond 2027 so that we don't risk capsizing the ship halfway down the shore.
Since politics is a game number in which whoever scores the highest number of the total votes cast is declared winner by the electoral body we have to make sure that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is paired with a political octopus like H.E Sen. Abdulaziz Yari who has his tentacles/connections spread across all the nineteen northern states particularly the North-West geopolitical zone which happens to be the geopolitical zone with the largest number of population/voters in the county being a former state secretary of the defunct APP/ANPP, a former state chairman of the defunct ANPP, a onetime national financial secretary of the defunct ANPP, a former member House of Representatives, a chairman of the convention committee which saw the relinquishment of the register of the defunct ANPP as a result of which the APC was given birth to, a former Governor of Zamfara State and currently a senator representing Zamfara-West senatorial district.
If Senator Yari is picked, there is no iota of doubt that his being a consummate and tactical politician will help him bring together members of the ANPP bloc in the APC and influence his political associates/allies across the country to work assiduously for the success of the Tinubu/Yari ticket come 2027 so that no club of political criminals in the name of opposition party will have a ghost of a chance to win even a councillorship seat out of the seven hundred and seventy four (774) we have in this country.
I am sure, my readers will agree with me that had some influential forces not waded in Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar would have woefully defeated his opponent in the contest/battle to occupy the office of the president of the tenth (10th) senate owing to his immense influence in the 10th senate.
If eventually, Senator Yari is picked as President Tinubu's vice presidential running mate no senator in the North and nthe county as a whole will not be happy with it and they will politically fight like kilkenny cats using all the weapons in their political arsenal to make sure that the APC got re-elected at all levels.
The Governor of my state Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum who was once my teacher/lecturer will bear me witness that Senator Abdulaziz Yari means well for the people of Borno State because there were many occasions when Senator Yari consoled the people of Borno State who were chased out of Borno State by the dreaded Boko-Haram by providing them with relief materials. Recently, when there was a tragic flood that engulfed/washed away thousands of houses, destroyed properties worth trillions of naira and claimed thousands of lives Senator Yari not only commiserated with the good people of Borno State over the incidence but also gave us millions of naira to cushion the effects of the disaster that befell us.
I know of people who lost their houses and were given huge amount of money by Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar to rebuild their houses. In my ward, Baga in Kukawa Local Government, there are several people who got financial assistance from Senator Yari to help them retrace their footsteps economically in the town having lost the whole kit caboodle to Boko-Haram and its attendant miscreant activities perpetrated in the historic town by the stone-hearted insurgents.
So, you can see some of the reasons why the APC must not ponder to pick Senator Yari as Tinubu's vice presidential running mate in the forthcoming elections.
Unlike, many of our relevance seeking politicians H.E Sen. Abdulaziz Yari believes uncompromisingly in the Latin phrase 'acta non verba' that is why shedload of his kind gestures and good deeds remain unknown to millions of people outside the North-West geopolitical zone.
I guess, it's the prayer of every staunch supporter of the governing APC that the party won't be piggy in the middle when it is time to pick a vice presidential running mate for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Unless the APC is praying for its downfall then they will not take this piece with a pinch of salt.
