JCI Bauchi City Conducts Training, Tasks Members on Self Determination

Junior Chambers International Bauchi City (JCI) held its leadership development meeting tasked members to explore more opportunity through technological advancement with the theme: Empowering Youths: Harnessing Technology for Growth and Community Impact.

2025 President JCI Bauchi City Akintunde Tajudeen Taiwo in his welcome address, charge members to interact with professionals and use the advantage of being together for common objectives to achieve meaningful and impactful initiatives 

Mr. Ogadinma Nkena Ogbonna Executive Director (Better Life Restoration initiative (BERI) while speaking on

entrepreneurship development through technology, he noted that the proliferation of infinite choices, the technology access to information gives ample opportunities for the youth.

He further, acknowledged that "the world is around us virtually all we do is revolving around us, so young person have a critical opportunity on sourcing information"

While emphasizing on information sharing, and experience with other people, as young person should start thinking of solving problems with an identify environment, though internet is there to help, he added.

Ogbonna added that try to identify something new within the community environment and explore ways of solving their problems, while being impactful to other people.

He pointed out that, while taking advantage of technology to advance in life, the community tells you their problems, don't think you know"

He added that community needs assessment is key to achieve target especially within a define territory, while trying to have first hand information about community problem solving.

The JCI Bauchi City Patron Hassan Alhaji Hassan in his remark, urged members to achieve success through share experience and adding value to other members.

Hassan adviced members to always interact and utilize each others potentials for a successful venture.

Furthermore, he encouraged that, the idea of adding values to what people are doing, is to attach something new to be different so that people can impacted more meaningful to what others are doing or can do even better.

Highlights of the meeting was the induction of new JCI members and swearing in ceremony as well presentation of certificates.
