Management Charged Maikaba, to Returns Elephant Boys to Nigeria Elite League

The management of Wikki Tourists football club of Bauchi state charged the newly appointed technical adviser to lead the elephant boys to triumph and subsequent promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL
They made the hint at the unveiling ceremony of the new coach Maikaba, held at press center Bauchi recently
Addressing sports writers and teaming club enthusiasm during the brief unveiling ceremony, chairman of the club Muhammad Auwal Gotal says coach Abdu Maikaba has the expertise and experience that can lead the club to record fruitful results at the end of the season.
The unveiling ceremony is a step forward prior to the commencement of the new season, while Auwal Gotal encouraged the new Head Coach to ensure Wikki returned to the Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL from the the current Nigeria National League NNL
In his response, the new elephant boys technical adviser Abdu Maikaba said he is back to complete a project started with the club during his first stay in 2014 season with the club
Maikaba who coached in his previous engagement with different Nigeria elite clubs such as Kano pillars, Plateau united, Akwa united, Enugu Rangers among others, promised to uplift the standard of players at both senior and junior wikki in oder to record more success during his contract period.
Also speaking, former Wikki tourists captain Yakubu Yankari and chairman Footbal Association FA Bauchi state, Mr Pascal Patrick advised management of the club to recruit more players to straighten the team ahead of the upcoming NNL season.
Anatarenews gathered that, Abdu Maikaba who signed a one year contract agreement with the elephant boys, has in the past spent two seasons with the state own club from 2014 to 2016 season in the elite league
