BAUCHI RERUN: Voters Commend Peaceful Exercise As Voting Ends

Voters in Bauchi state have expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the state assembly re-run elections in the 42 polling units by the Independent national electoral commission, INEC

They made their feelings known shortly after casting their votes at the Madara/Chinade state constituency in Katagum local government area of the state.

The re-run election was organized by the electoral body in order to get a clear winner after the court of appeal judgements which affected the state constituencies in three local councils in Bauchi state

In Bulkachuwa kofar Dakaro and Tudun Wada 1, voters turned en-masse, to cast their votes.

Rahama Aliyu and Sale Garba were the early voters who cast their votes and acknowledged that the process is peacefully in the area

" I have cast my vote and they really did well in terms of preparation for the election, I pray that who ever wins will change our constituency for the better"

Raliya Gambo also a prospective voter at polling unit, explained that  "The conduct of the re-run exercise is peaceful and we are on queue now as you can see, I pray hat the one we will vote for will emerge winner and represent us well at the state house of assembly"

Sale Garba a resident in the area who caste his vote expressed hope and confidence that the exercise will end  smoothly devoid of rancor 

"We thank God the election is going on without any challenges, my hope is for us to get good leaders that can help people from our constituency to become better citizens"

At polling units in Ningi local government areas, the conduct of the re-run election was largely peaceful
