Muslim Cleric Calls for Justice, Fairness Reporting, as Bauchi SWAN Celebrate 60th Anniversary

Imam Abubakar Muhammadu has called on sports writer in Nigeria to uphold justice and fairness in their daily sports reporting across the country and beyond 

He made the call while delivering Jumma'at sermon at state secretariat Jumma'at Mosque marking the 60th Anniversary of sports writers association of Nigeria SWAN on Friday.

He offered prayers for unity among members of the association, urging them to always put Allah first in the discharge of their duties. The Imam also prayed for the success of the anniversary celebration.

The special prayer session was attended by the former Deputy National President and current Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Bauchi State Council, Umar Sa’idu, SWAN Ex-officio Usman Abbas Shehu, SWAN Chairman Bala Bawaji, and other members of the association.
