Investigative Committee on Kano Hisbah Dismissal Agrees to Co-opt Other Members

The investigative committee set up by the former governor Ganduje on the dismissal of Hisba officials by the current Kano state government has invited other members from the 44 local government areas to have a good number of representation

The Director General National Productivity Center Dr. Baffa Baba Dan Agudi who presided over the meeting, says the committee is working assiduously to ensure they completed the assignment within the timeframe 

He further assured that they would work in accordance with the term of reference of the committee saying the dismissed Guard of Hisbah the committee would look at their plight and ensure justice is mated on them, and encourage them to secure another job.

He continue that, the sub-committees from the Local Government Areas will be responsible for verifying the approximately one thousand (1,000) Hisba official who were dismissed by the current Kano State Government.

The committee also agreed to reconstitute a three-members sub-committee to oversee the provision of one person from each Local Government Area of Kano State.

The committee will meet at end of this week to receive the report of the sub-committee set up to justice and fearness.
