Interms of key players that are working in statistical landscape in that perspective it provides and excellent point of convergence producing quality statistics that would inform decision both at the state and MDAs level and by extension at the LGA level.

With the unbundle opportunity of LGA autonomy it gives us an entry point to strike a good deal how do we support the LGAs in terms of providing the necessary information data that would inform inform their planning process and how do we put in institutional frame work  in terms of an M&E that would really major their performance.
By global definition at the macro level , the consultative committee on statistics would help in production of statistics, that will inform not only the refinement of the development plan but provide some key performance indicators and how best it would track the development plan,

Ahmed continue that, by extension would provide some technical perspective and coming up with technical working groups base on sectorial formation of the plan that would really help in the implementation and also to provide feedback.

Statistician reminded that, this is another opportunity for the government to use the key performance indicators and agencies of ministries of business government accountable in terms of implimenting their development plan components.

He further maintained that, "the MDAs at their own level there is what we called year book is a template use to harness statistical data at the MDAs level and when the state consultative committee meets its going to look at the output take a review snap shorts and look at issues interms of gaps and how best to address those data gaps and make proper technical recommendations for government as maybe appropriate".

"So if you look at the composition it also cut across academia, research institutions, whom we believe have some major role to play interms of providing skills and technical knowledge that would really reshape execution and deliberations of consultative committee on statistics", he conclude.
