Emir of Ningi Tasks Subjects for Fairness, Commitment in Leadership

His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ningi, Alhaji Haruna Yunusa Dan'yaya, has tasked his subjects to always adhere to justice and fairness with one another and exhibit good representation at all times. He stated this in his palace last Friday while receiving a delegation from one of the communities for the nomination of the Galadima of Ningi within the emirate.
The Emir expressed happiness with the commitment shown by the people after giving them the mandate to select one person and bring him forward for upward consideration for the position of Galadiman Ningi.
Moving forward, the Emir revealed that there are two contenders for the same position among them; therefore, he instructed that the other party must be present before consideration of anyone to remove ambiguity and mistrust and to entrench moral values of the Ningi emirate.
The Emir added, "When justice, equity, and fairness reign, then peace can be sustained forever among leaders and their followers, especially in a traditional setup as well."
Earlier, the delegation presented their nominee, Alhaji Hamza Baba Mohammad, for consideration and prayed for the Emir to continue to prosper with good health and lead his subjects to a greater height, for the entire Ningi emirate council, Bauchi State in particular, and Nigeria in general.
